Suzanne van Niekerk is a senior HR executive with passion for organizational development, change management, talent development and strategic workforce management. She has over 25-year experience in the financial sector and extensive experience in organizational design and transformation. She is an empathetic and authentic leader who has a strong focus on personal interaction and establishing true connections. Throughout her career she has had a drive to build teams that are inclusive and in which people are enabled to be the best version of themselves.

Suzanne started her career as a Management trainee for ABN AMRO and has held various positions within the bank ever since. From relationship management, international clients, credit analysis to talent management. Her position as talent manager was her introduction to the HR profession. From this point she held different HR positions. Between 2011 and 2016 she worked as a HR Manager for different business lines within the bank, such as COO and Commercial Clients. In 2019 she became a member of the Management Team of HR and was appointed as Director HR Business NL. Since 2023 she has been appointed as the Chief Human Resource Officer of ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Suzanne is married, has two children and in her private time she likes to cycle, travel, cook and practice goldsmithing.
